1.      Teacher uses the text and picture on page 97 on the textbook to ask the following questions:
·         Do you know what  stars are?
·         Why  do we see stars at night?
               Teacher ask pupils to look at the patterns
                formed by on the page.

2.      Pupils discuss that constellation is a group of stars that form a certain
      pattern in the sky from the mind map.

3.      Pupils sing together :                              ‘Twinkle,Twinkle Little Star’
       
4.      Pupils  name the Constellation in the worksheet given.

    • Pupils imagine their body as the Earth.
    • Pupils stand facing the light.
    • After that, pupils facing away from the Sun.
  3. Teacher asks a few questions :
·        Can you see the Sun?
·        Is it day time or night time?
·        What happens when you face away from the light?
·        Is it day time or night time?
4.    Teacher explains the term for The Earth rotates for occurrence day and night.

    night occur.
2. Teacher sets up the globe and light so
    they are at the same level and the light is
    shining on the globe.
3. Teacher tells pupils that the light
    represents the Sun and the globe
    represents the Earth.
4. Teacher ask pupils to locate Malaysia on
    the globe. Then, turn the globe so that
    Malaysia is directly opposite of light.
    Teacher asks pupils ‘Is it daytime or
    night-time in Malaysia?’
5. Teacher ask pupils to rotate the globe
    counter clockwise and stop at the point
where change from the light to dark
occur. Teacher remains pupils to be
honest in recording the observation.
6. Teacher asks pupils on how long does
the Earth take to complete on rotation.
Ensure pupils understand that one
complete rotation takes 24 hours or one
day.
7. Pupils draw diagram to show the
    occurrence of day and night.
